What to check in a Sarawak car quotation
Understand the difference between a catalogue price, a written on-the-road quotation and a financing estimate before booking your Perodua.

Start with the exact vehicle
Ask for the model, variant, colour and model year on the quotation. A starting price may refer to a different variant from the car in a photograph. A colour or optional package can also change the amount.
For a Kuching purchase, confirm that the quotation is prepared for Sarawak. Manufacturer headline prices and regional quotations may use different inclusions.
Ask for the price components
Have the quotation show the vehicle price, registration-related charges, insurance and optional accessories clearly. Ask whether each amount is included in the advertised figure and which items you can choose separately.
Insurance should be discussed using your actual circumstances and the cover being quoted. Do not assume another buyer’s insurance amount will be your amount. Ask the advisor or insurer to explain the quotation.
Keep promotions separate and dated
If a rebate or package is offered, ask what qualifies: the variant, year, available stock, booking date and registration deadline. Confirm whether it is a manufacturer campaign or a dealer-specific offer.
Ask for the final price after the applicable benefit, with the terms in writing. An expired promotion article or an undated social post is not confirmation that you qualify today.
Then look at financing
The deposit, amount financed, interest-rate basis, tenure and charges should be clear. Compare the monthly instalment and total repayment together. Ask the lender to explain any difference between a calculator estimate and its actual schedule.
An online estimate helps you prepare questions; it does not confirm approval or replace the bank’s offer. Send Chai the model and variant you want so the vehicle quotation can be checked first.
